Governor of Akwa Ibom State

Akpabio became Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2007 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.

He gained national recognition for large-scale road networks, government buildings, and modernization initiatives in Akwa Ibom.

Transition to Federal Politics
